Thermal imager is a kind of sensor that can detect extremely slight temperature differences and convert such differences into real-time video images. The images displayed on the monitor are fully appropriate for application of night vision. Unlike other night vision systems which depend on low light to generate images, the thermal imager needs no visible light at all, making it an ideal companion for observation in absolute darkness.
